I am in my born town in #Guyana My first project is walking the market and get to meet the market girls and make a small act of kindness giving away lunch to the homeless and to the minority. A way to thanksgiving after I left and migrated to America 45 years ago. Its beautiful to live and see this experience, to see my people and watch how third generations are returning back to Guyana.

The origin of Thanksgiving dates back to 1621 in America, pilgrims from the New World celebrated the harvests captivated a year earlier, when the Wampanoag Indians taught them how to farm, hunt, and fish. Thanks to this, the pilgrims obtained abundant crops of grain, barley, beans and pumpkins.They offered a dinner to the Native Americans as a thank you for teaching them farming and hunting techniques that were essential for their survival. Thus began #Thanksgiving a day that is traditionally dedicated to express our #gratitude to #God. Recently I had the great honor to meet his excellency, Dr Mohamed Irfaan Ali the first Muslim president of Guyana. In Guyanas National Assembly, was also a leading spokesperson on the economy and finance. He served as chair of the Public Accounts Committee, and co-chair of the Economic Services Committee of the Parliament of Guyana. One of the most important relationships for Caricom and for Guyana is that to the United States. The United States is an important partner for us, not only from a developmental perspective but from a societal perspective. Our countries are connected culturally. There is no other connection that is greater than people-to-people connection, and you are home to the largest diaspora of Guyana, and sometimes we miss this point.Dr Ali is married and father. Our presidents are doing a great job for Guyana and the people of Guyana may God continue to bless him and continue to direct him.
As I reflect on my life @bibiali0101 the soil has played a very significant role, from planting seeds as a child until now planting to give community and vulnerable communities families a chance to provide themselves the necesario support, training and advice related to domestic farming since a home garden would help then to obtain healthier families nutrition products. This, my second book will be released September 15th 2022. Is a compilation of stories of children who have been touch by hope as result of farming the land. Past September 9th, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation announced that, Ambassador Michael E. Brotherson took up his appointment as at the Consulate General of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana in New York, USA. I had the opportunity to meet & greet him with my colleagues.
